sTUDENT PARKING AT NHS 2022 - 2023
Navarre High School will start accepting applications from rising Seniors for the 2022 - 2023 school year beginning May 2nd - May 13th, 2022. We will have Senior Reserved Painted Parking Spaces for $100 which will include your decal. For the 2022 -2023 school year, NHS will go back to assigned parking for all students who are on campus full time. The price of assigned parking is cost $30. Any students who must leave campus for dual enrollment classes, Locklin Tech, Marine Science Station, or DCT will have priority on a parking permit and park in the West Parking Lot. Juniors will be able to apply for parking on May 16th - May 23rd and will not be guaranteed an assigned parking space.
How to apply for a parking application (Must be logged in by student)
- Student must click on the appropriate link below.
- Log into your (student) class link account to access the form.
- Completely fill out the form including uploading the following documents: Student DL, Vehicle Registration, Vehicle Insurance. If you are applying for a painted reserved parking space, upload your parking space design.
- After your form submission has been validated, look in your email address for your parking application that will need to be filled out and signed digitally by you and your parent. The email will be sent by Deputy Austin. *email will not be sent right away, keep checking daily
- You will receive an email stating if your application has been accepted after it has been signed and received back.
- If applying for a Senior Painted Reserved Parking, immediately pay the $100 via the myschoolbucks link AFTER completing the form below.
Paint to Personalize Your Parking Space (Senior Only)
Painted Parking Spaces are sold out at this time! If you were able to purchase the painted spot online, don't worry you have been approved for a painted space. You will be receiving an email as soon as your submitted form has been validated. If you did not pay when you submitted the parking form, you will be added to the wait list if more spaces become available. Thank you! Seniors will be allowed to paint a reserved spot in the "Senior Only" location in the East Parking Lot. However, with limited space in our parking lot, we will only be able to offer 130 spaces for painting. The cost is $100, which will include the regular $30 cost. This must be paid first before a Painted Reserved Parking Application will be sent to your email. You must still complete the form on the link above. Deadline is May 13th. Senior Preferred Assigned Parking
Senior preferred parking will be closed on May 14th. After May 14th you must sign up on the Junior and Senior parking link. Seniors will be allowed first selection on parking at Navarre High School. The 2022-2023 school year will bring back assigned parking to all full time students at Navarre High School. The cost will be $30. This payment will not be due until you are assigned a parking spot. Assigned parking space will not be given out until the week of August 2nd-9th. |

1. Can I park on campus as a sophomore?
Answer: No
2. How much is my parking citation and where can I pay it?
Answer: You can pay your citation in Student Services and it is $20.00 if paid in 5 business days.
3. Can I park by the baseball fields, North of NJROTC pad, or around back of the campus?
Answer: There is no parking for students other then the designated areas in the East and West parking lots.
4. Can I park at NYSA if I don't have a parking permit?
Answer: Navarre High School is not affiliated with NYSA. NYSA may allow students to park there but may stop or close their gates at anytime.
5. If I drive my parent's car can I park on campus without a decal?
Answer: Yes, but you must let student services know you are driving a different vehicle.
6. My friend's car is not working. Can I drive him to school and park in his spot?
Answer: No, your friends vehicle is registered for the assigned parking space.
7. Can I back into my parking spot?
Answer: No, your vehicle must be pulled forward with the decal on the back window facing the out.
8. Someone parked in my spot. What do I do?
Answer: If someone is parked in your spot, park on the bus ramp and inform student services. They will direct you to where you need to park on campus while the violation is rectified. You can also, submit the violation on this parking webpage. Parking in someone else's assigned space will create a domino effect.
9. Do I have to place a decal on my rear window?
Answer: Yes, the decal must be permanently placed on the outside of your rear window in correct orientation. Any decal placed on the inside of the vehicle and not permanently placed on the window will receive a parking violation citation.
10. If I get a new vehicle what do I do?
Answer: If you get a new vehicle see student services for a updated vehicle form. You must fill out the new form and the cost of a replacement decal is $10.00.
11. Can I apply for a parking permit before I receive my driver's license or before I have a vehicle?
Answer: No, you must first have a valid driver's license before being able to apply for a parking permit. If you do not have a vehicle but plan on driving your parent's car before you get your own, you can apply for a parking permit but will have to submit a new parking registration when you get your new car.
